Every swimmer is assessed to join the most suitable level, and moves up when they have the confidence, ability and skills to succeed at the next stage, never just because a set number of weeks have passed.
Water Confidence
Ages 3+ · new or nervous swimmersFun, play-based classes for children new to the water. Splashing, blowing bubbles, safe entries and exits, floating with support, building trust and enjoyment first.
Outcome → A happy swimmer who feels safe in the water.

Beginner
Comfortable in water, ready for first skillsFirst independent steps: streamline position, front and back kicking, floating unaided, rolling front to back and short confident swims.
Outcome → Floats and kicks independently over short distances.

Foundation
Swims short distances independentlyThe basic movements of every stroke: front crawl and back crawl arm actions, breaststroke kick, breathing technique and coordination.
Outcome → Foundations of all four strokes in place.

Intermediate
Confident with basic strokesCoordinating front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke while building stamina, deep-water confidence and longer distances.
Outcome → Swims longer distances with coordinated technique.

Advanced
Strong all-round swimmersOur highest learn-to-swim level. Refining all strokes, turns, dives, efficiency, speed and stamina, preparation for Star Squad.
Outcome → An efficient, squad-ready swimmer.

Star Squad
Max 6 per squadJunior · ages 9–11
Swimming fitness, junior lifeguard skills, water safety education, team challenges and games, with confidence and leadership at the core.
Senior · ages 12–16
Endurance and fitness alongside rescue techniques, lifesaving skills and leadership, preparing for Water Safety Ireland qualifications.
Water Safety & Beyond
The journey doesn’t end with strokes. Swimmers can continue into nationally recognised Water Safety Ireland pathways, from first awards to teaching the next generation.

Adult Swimming
It’s never too late to learn.
Whether you’re learning to swim for the first time or improving your fitness, our adult lessons provide a supportive, welcoming environment, max four per class.

Adult Beginner
Little or no experience, or returning after many years. Confidence, overcoming fear, and essential swimming and water-safety skills in a relaxed environment.
